My current sculptural work explores the interaction of components to create a theme or landscape. This allows for more freedom with form, materials and technique.
Functional work is still a large part of my work, along with teaching at Art Off Center.
I have been working in clay since high school and studied art and ceramics in college while pursuing other majors. After a long break from pottery, I returned to ceramics in 2005 and have benefitted from the generosity of amazing teachers and mentors.
