I am a young artist originally from austin, tx. I enjoy using many different mediums. Some the things that i enjoy are: photography, ceramics, and watercolor.
My photography allows a glimpse into what I see around me. I like to take time to look closely at plants and architecture in my surroundings, greatly valuing detail.
In my ceramics, i often focus on animals, whether real or not. Animals are a big piece of my life and i find them very intriguing. I enjoy ceramics because i can spend a lot of time and focus on a piece that i am able to share with others easily. The techniques that i use the most are Sgraffito and sculpture, everything is hand built.
While working with other mediums such as colored pencil and watercolor, i am able to allow my thoughts to reign free. I feel that I can create anything. My art still tends to have animals and natural aspects, but they become less and less realistic in their meaning.
