I am a painter, illustrator, gardener, and lifelong observer of small, tender moments. My work grows from the same place as my garden: slowly, seasonally, and with deep affection for living things.
I am especially drawn to animals and plants, to the softness of fur and petals, to the quiet personality of a beloved pet or the stubborn resilience of something blooming out of season. Living in central Texas, where the weather can turn dramatic overnight, and that tension between fragility and endurance often finds its way into my paintings.
If something in my work makes you pause, smile, or feel a little more connected to the living world around you, then it has done what I hoped it would.
